For us, the quality of the end product begins with the receipt of goods. All stations and the associated operations within CLD Germany GmbH are continuously checked and optimized if necessary. In our production facility, all areas are equipped with ESD protection measures. In this way, we ensure that electronic components and groups are not damaged. In addition, consistent climatic conditions prevail in all our premises. We not only ensure the right temperature, but also the ideal humidity.

We also leave nothing to chance when it comes to the product. Throughout the entire process chain, we use our measuring instruments to ensure consistently high quality. This means that only products that have successfully passed all the checks end up in our packaging.

Electrostatic discharges are one of the most frequent causes of failure in electronic and optoelectronic components such as integrated circuits, light-emitting diodes or printed circuit boards. To prevent ESD damage, we at CLD Germany GmbH rely on comprehensive protective measures in accordance with DIN EN 61340-5-1. From incoming goods through production facilities to outgoing logistics, ESD-sensitive components and assemblies are processed exclusively in so-called "Electrostatic Protected Areas" (EPA). These areas are equipped with ESD floors, ESD table foils and holistic ESD workstations. In addition, we used ionizers in our production facility. These generate a large number of positive and negative ions that move freely in the ambient atmosphere and are attracted by charges of opposite polarity. They are used to clean the ambient air from contamination by dust, spores and pollen, for example, but also to discharge electrostatically charged surfaces within a short time and protect them from ESD damage.
